BattlePub BarFight GT 2024
Now that we have all recovered from the hangover from the BarFight GT, it is time to share the news and winners from the event! The BarFight GT was unique that we were running an Age of Sigmar GT and a 40k GT right next to each other, running the same timers, and similar style of missions for each round. There was an Age of Sigmar and a 40K GT Winner, however there was the BarFight Champion which accounted for total overall points in the tournament plus hobby scores. 
We honestly could not have hosted a more perfect event especially our supporters for year 1 made this event legend...wait for it...dary! Special thanks to our partners at Iwata, Monster Energy, Coca Cola, Culligan, Silver Eagle, Independence Beer Co, Ranger Creek Brewery, Masterminds Tattoo, Battlefront Miniatures, and much more!
Culligan water sponsored our hydration station to ensure we were hydrated throughout the entire event! Masterminds Flash Tattoos was a huge hit (especially for those that got a BattlePub tattoo) We certainly have some true believers at BattlePub - We hope y'all enjoy that extra CP advantage to give you an edge for every BattlePub Sponsored event.

The BarFight GT was special for some of our players, we had a new player join their first tournament event at our GT. He has been playing in BattlePub since the beginning, however decided our event was where he was gonna try throwing it down on the table! Cheers Ruben and congratulations on your Wooden Spoon- we hope to see you at the next monthly RTT and RTS!

The next award is special since it's voted on by the community of players everyone had the opportunity to meet and play with. This is the best Sportsman award and goes to the player with a great attitude on and off the table and just an overall good f**kin person to be around! Cheers to Andy, Dwayne, Angel, and Dominic! 
As most events have a tradition, we have a highest bar tab at BattlePub, and by no surprise by anyone since Travis decided to buy everyone a round, or two this weekend! Cheers Travis enjoy the Silver Eagle suite at the Frost Bank Center for a Spurs Game for 2 of your choice! 
Best Painted Army was unique since this title was including all of the armies for a singular title. The scoring was close, and by close we literally mean 2 points. We drank enough to forget to take a photo of this army but just come by and see Dustins Grey Knights! Enjoy your first Airbrush set up courtesy of Iwata by Anest Iwata! We cannot wait to see what you do next with that brush!
Now we mentioned that our GT was unique, so we had a 40K and an Age of Sigmar GT winner. Those players gave it their all and had a great time doing it!

Now onto our First BarFight GT Winner! This player had the most points overall with tournament play plus paint scored rolled into a single winner! This year there was a lot of players who came out the gate hot wanting the title as the BarFight Champion. Unfortunately there can only be one (highlander reference) ;).

Congratulations to Reuben from SF 40k! He took home the coveted wrestling belt, the Monster branded Stratocaster, and of course a large pint glass trophy!
